Pants for Pear Shaped Figure ft Pomelo Fashion

I believe every women are beautiful on their own way, regardless her skin color, hairs or, body sizes. Some born with skinny figure, others might born with some curves , but do you know exactly that there are so many body types out there ? and with the right outfit sillhouettes, you can cover the imperfections and emphasize the good part on your body?  Well, if you are curious about this, I’m sure you will find all the answers on the internet, but now  I’m going to share about my body type is and how I dress up with this figure!

Curvy hips, thick thighs, and a full rear are the characteristics of my body, which can be categorized as pear-shaped body type or also famous as skittles shapes. This is also might be one of the reason why I find my self don’t look or feel good whenever I wear tight bottoms or skinny jeans. I rarely wear jeans or skinny pants unless when I’m working, but the good side, my waist and bust is normal, which I don’t usually have problems on choosing tops.

This time, I am trying to challenge my self to go outside of my comfort zone, by wearing one of Pomelo Fashion newest pants collection. Still, there are some points to note to make the whole outfit work out:

 

  •   Choose tops in bright colors and prints to draw attention to the torso and away from the hips and thighs. Outfit your upper body in bright colors or prints. These catch the eye at the top, making your shoulders and chest seem a bit broader than they actually are.

 

  • Pay attention to the fit.  Look for tops that are tight around the waist and highlight an hourglass figure. the fit of your shirts should aim to highlight your waist and shoulders, something that can be accomplished with the right combination of tight and loose.

 

  •  Choose Straight Cut or flared pants as this will create longer illusion and slimmer hip. Try to avoid any details that bring attentions to your hip such as embroidery or big pocket and best if you can stick to dark colors. ( I know it will be boring sometimes but this how thing works for us skittle body!

 

  • Wear the right shoes. Believe it or not, your shoes can change the appearance of the rest of your body. Look for shoes that have a pointed toe, as these elongate your legs and make your hips look more proportional
